Covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, RS Property Surveys look to provide a "One Stop Shop" insulation service for our customers. In one visit we can advise on suitable improvements for your home, produce a quotation and book the work with a Trustmark approved installation company.

The first areas to look to for saving on your bills and improving your home's comfort are your loft and walls. These represent the greatest heat loss and are cheaper to insulate than you might think. Loft and cavity wall insulation pays for itself many times over in its lifetime.
Book your home energy survey
The first step to insulating your home is to arrange a survey. One of our Retrofit Qualified Technical Surveyors will visit to discuss your requirements and conduct a thorough inspection. (Please allow 1-2 hours for this survey to be completed).
He will discuss his findings, answer all your questions and agree the best solution for your home.
He will provide a quotation at point of survey and can help you book your installation if required.
Domestic surveys are charged at £60.00 payable when booking.
Top up your loft insulation
Loft insulation is an immediate and cost effective way to insulate your home. A professional survey ensures that your loft, water tanks and pipework are properly protected and suitable ventilation is installed.
If your existing insulation is less than 300mm/1 foot deep, you could benefit from a top-up.
Insulate your home's cavity walls
Your cavity walls lose around thirty five percent of your home's heat, making this a good place to start saving on your heating bills. This installation comes with an independent 25 year CIGA guarantee.
We can check your walls to see if you need insulation in just a couple of minutes. Our surveyor will be able to show you images from inside your cavity wall and fully explain his findings.

You may be able to see for yourself if your home has been insulated as injection points may be visible. Under the window sills is a good place to start looking.
Insulation for homes with solid walls
Walls without a cavity can benefit from Exterior Wall Insulation. You can choose from a rendered, decorative aggregate, or brick finish to enhance the aesthetic as well as improving heat retention. Once installed you will never need to paint the property again.

RS Property Surveys support the delivery of projects with local councils throughout Berkshire & Buckinghamshire
Your local council's energy officer works with approved installers to deliver funded insulation measures in the local community.
As an accredited provider, we can determine your eligibility at point of survey, help you complete all the necessary paperwork and arrange for your insulation to be installed. However, funding schemes are presently extremely restricted.
You may see a Council funding letter through your door...
...but please act quickly as the funding criteria is becoming extremely restrictive.
